Time Square, the £142m mixed-use scheme in Warrington town centre, has secured its first food & beverage tenant.
The Botanist, which has signed up for 10,000 sq ft. Due to open in December 2019, the restaurant and bar will have outdoor space and room for nearly 300 covers.
Vinci is currently building out the scheme and is due to complete in early 2020; Leach Rhodes Walker is the architect. P4 Planning advised on planning. The Botanist already operates sites in the North West including at Salford Quays, central Manchester, Knutsford, and Alderley Edge.
Chris Hill, chief executive at The New World Trading Company, said: “Our successful roll-out of The Botanist has always factored in the potential of key regional towns across the UK and Time Square in Warrington was an opportunity not to be missed. The vision for the development aligns with our brand, and it will be an ideal location for increasing our footprint in the North West region.”
